Vishnu wants to marry his childhood sweetheart whom he meets after fifteen years. However, problems arise when the girl's father plans to get her married elsewhere.

Rambabu spends his time doing unfruitful things, but his life changes when he falls in love with Kaveri, a girl from the neighbouring village. However, Kaveri's brother objects to their relationship.

Colaba-based Rishi Sharma and his wife, Simi, hope their friends, Samit and Mita are pregnant when they get together, but instead they inform them that they are separating. Shocked at this news, they attempt to figure out what went wrong. Eventually Samit moves out and lives with Kaya, an Aerobics and Yoga instructor, while Mita has an admirer in Veer, Simi's co-worker. Eventually the estranged couple find they cannot live without each other and patch-up. The foursome get together to celebrate, and this is where Rishi and Simi will find that their seemingly harmonious married life is not perfect either.

In a family where love stories always end in heartbreak, Simis arranged marriage is seen as a longoverdue new beginning. Her fiancé is charming, successful, and everything her parents hoped for. But just days before the wedding, a whisper of doubt creeps into Simi’s mind — and it refuses to leave.

Shekhar is in love with Pooja and would like to marry her. Pooja is the only daughter of Choudhury, the apple of his eye, and he agrees to get her married to Shekhar. Shekhar informs his parents, his dad, and his stepmother, and together they all go to Choudhury's house to finalize the marriage. At this point, Shekhar's stepmother asks for a hefty sum as dowry, which the Choudhury is unable to afford, and thus the proposal for marriage falls flat, with the Choudhury vowing that he will get his daughter married elsewhere. Shekhar is disgusted with his stepmother, and leaves home and comes to Choudhury and attempts to convince him to reconsider, but Choudhury is adamant, and goes ahead to plan his daughter's marriage with Atmaram, leaving both Shekar and Roopa devastated, and unsure what plan of action to adopt.
